Hmmm....I will admit to a curiosity when I saw the url of this blog published in the news. Perhaps the hacker might not understand the meaning of the term, "obstruction of justice." While his heart may be in the right place, and wanting to vent itre against lowlife scum, he may also be guilty of a crime, and should perhaps face prosecution. Ultimately when it is boiled down there is a hairs difference between this Joe or Jet and all the foul mouthed hatred spewing posters. Rest assured that Jet without Christ will burn in Hell for an eternity (an amount of time we simply can not comprehend). Sad fact is many who condemn him will burn with him. There are no degrees of sin much as we’d like there to be. Without Christ one man is just as dead as the other. Without Christ we are simply dead millions of times over.
Stealing some gum or murdering a family a man is still just as dead without Christ and any attempt to redeem him simply doesn’t work. If God doesn’t exist just where do we get this idea that Jet should go to Hell? If God doesn’t exist then there is no Hell. If God does exist then a lot of us are in serious trouble and this fact is just what we would all like to ignore. The question is then; if God exists and He is everything we think He might be, then why would He allow this man to continue breathing? The answer is; the same reason why any of us are still breathing. For any who still wonder why Christ died here is your answer.
He paid the price for even one such as this man. Unfair, yes it truly is . . . to Christ. There is only one reason why evil exists in this world. There is only one reason why none of us who are outside redemption through Christ will burn for eternity. We brought it on ourselves. We can not blame Adam. Adam answers for Adam’s sins and we will answer for our own. It is a simple plan. One death covers millions of lives in the past and currently on death row, and I’m not referring to inmates.
We are the way we are because we want to be. We choose sin for whatever reason, on whatever scale, to serve one purpose; our own. Many don’t want to be healed because hurt is all they know. With out it they wouldn’t feel “whole”. For those who would verbally persecute and berate those who have chosen eternal life over eternal death you must realize we were warned that you would do it and it is wholly expected from you. It is a symptom of your particular human condition; being spiritually void. Your rebuke means we are shining lights in the darkness labeled “life”. It means we are doing our jobs. So you can encourage us by continuing or you can choose true life and encourage us anyway.
Hint: How do you know you’re spiritually void of true life? (How to know you’re dead.) Exposure to the truth, the Gospel of Christ, makes your skin crawl, your jaw tight, and your head spin at the prospect that you might have to change.
Truth: You don’t have to change. Jesus died before any of us were born so none of our sins could have been committed. He has already accepted you as you are. Changing yourself is not your responsibility. There is one fact that none living on this planet outside of Christ can hide from:
The future is uncertain.
The present is not what you want it to be.
The past reminds you of that fact.
This is the spiritually dead condition.
In the life of Christ this is fact:
An eternal future in perfection is certain.
The present is treated as temporary.
The past keeps us looking forward and walking with Christ.
This is the condition of Hope. It is the fact of Promise. It is life from and in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Never let it be said that I counted myself worthy to enter the Kingdom of God except by the blood of Jesus. Be as good a person as you want to, but do it in vain because there is still only one way . . . that way is narrow.
